Household Waste

Household trash is picked up on Tuesdays by Pine Tree Waste. Each bag must have a trash sticker prominently displayed. Residents are given 1 free sticker per week of residency in Hancock per year. If these are used before the new fiscal year begins, July 1, residents must buy stickers for $1.00 each. Bags cannot weight more than 40 pounds and need to be put curbside by 7:00 a.m.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection is an event we participate in once a year. Usually in August. The links above will be activated when we have more information on the date and time of the 2009 Household Hazardous Waste Collection. Also, watch the Cable Channel and Newsletter for information on this event.

For specific questions you can call the Town Office at 422-3393.
