John Larson is the town's CEO. His office hours are Tuesdays 7 am to 12 pm and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm. He can be reached at 422-3393. A building permit is required before any construction project begins. It is always a good idea to check with the Code Enforcement Office before starting any project.
You need a Building/Land Use Permit:
- Change of Use
- For construction of an addition
- For demolishing or moving a building
- Placing a sign
- Activities listed in the Schedule of Uses
- Any earth moving or other improvements in the shoreland zone or floodplain
- Driveway/Road entrance
- Fabric Shelters
- Vegetative Clearing
- Home Occupation
